Hiring area

Within 50 miles of Dallas TX, and Haslet TX,
Within 30 miles of Mcalister OK, Muskogee OK, Tulsa OK, Marshall TX, Ardmore OK, Durant OK, Tyler TX, and Waco TX

Pay:

  • Pay based on verified experience
  • $1060 weekly avg.
  • $55,000 yearly avg – top earners make $65,000 (To make the W2 shown drivers will need to stick to the 34 hour reset and run extra freight as needed)

Time off / shift:

  • Thursday – Monday or Friday – Tuesday – Start time on Day 1 will be early am.
  • Regional drivers are out 5 days and off 34 hours up to 48 hours off.
  • The 6th day of work is optional to the driver, but requires a 34 hour reset before returning to work.
  • This is both night and day time driving to customers that are open 24/7.

Position details:

  • Regional drivers will move rail containers from the HASLET rail ramp to various customers in a 350 mile radius.
  • Pickup loaded containers at the customer to drop off at ramp in Haslet for shipment across the U.S.
  • All runs either begin or end in Haslet at the rail yard.
  • 75% Drop and Hook.

Additional details:

  • Ramp specific training – 3 – 5 days payable at $14 per hour.
  • Drivers Take the truck home for time off but they MUST have a safe secure place to park the tractor for time off.   50 mile radius of Haslet 75052 or Dallas 75236, or a 30 mile radius of In OK – Ardmore 73401, Muskogee 74401Tulsa 74103, McAlister 74501, Durant 74701 & In TX – Waco 76701, Tyler 75701, Marshal 75670.
  • If they do not have a safe place to park the tractor THEY MUST park at the Haslet yard ( 1150 Intermodal Parkway, Haslet TX 76052) for time off
  • No touch freight.
  • Passengers are not permitted.

Special requirements:

  • 60 days after orientation to get Hazmat.

Qualifications

 

Moving Violations

  • No more than 3 in the last 3 years

* Based on the offense date

Policy on License suspensions

  • No more than 30 days in the last 3 years for moving violation
  • No more than 12 months in the last 3 years for non-moving violation
  • Must have a valid license for 2 out of last 3 years

DOT Recordable Accidents

  • No more than 3 minor accidents/incidents in the past 3 years
  • No more than 1 highway accident in the past year
  • No major preventable in the last 3 years

* Major Preventable Accident Definition – Damage totaling $25,000 or more

Ticket / Accident / Incident Combo

  • No more than 3 accidents and/or tickets
  • No more than one preventable with less than 12 months of experience

Major Moving Violations- that are automatic DQ’s

  • No careless or reckless driving convictions in the last 3 years
  • No rear end or roll over accidents in the last 3 years

Policy Against Unemployment- even if it is accounted for

  • No more than 22 months of unemployment in the last 3 years

Felony Convictions

  • All criminal convictions are reviewed on an individual basis as part of an overall review of the file.
  • Felony drug charges must be outside of 7 years

Misdemeanors

  •  All criminal convictions are reviewed on an individual basis as part of an overall review of the file.

DUI/DWI

  • No more than 1 and it must be outside of 5 years old
  • If Driver has 2 DUI’s, they will be considered if both are prior to 2002
  • Drivers with a DUI/DWI in a CMV may be considered for employment with appropriate SAP paperwork.

  • Urine & Hair

Failed Drug/Alcohol Test

  • Must have 1 year of safe Driving since completing an SAP program
