Job Description |
Pay
- .55 cpm (avg 2150 miles per week)
- $25 delivery stop -Multistop loads with 7-8 avg stops per load – max stops per load is 24, BIG MONEY!!
- Detention pay is $15/hour in 15 minute increments
- $1379 weekly avg.
- $71,725 yearly avg – – (Many drivers averaging into the mid 70’s to low 80’s)(They do this by pulling extra loads or skipping home time occasionally)
MINIMUM PAY PROGRAM:
Time off / Shift:
- Will have at least 34-40 hours off sometime between Thursday and Monday
- Generally, there are no weekend deliveries, but driver may drive on a weekend day to deliver on a Monday or on a Saturday to make it home.
Position details:
- Will be hauling kitchen and bathroom cabinets that are packed individually in cardboard boxes (average weight is 50-75 lbs)-all freight is floor loaded
- This account delivers almost exclusively to the Northeast and will occasionally make deliveries to Long Island NY but NEVER NYC
- Tailgating and down stacking of freight during unload- customers provide equipment to offload but dollies are provided with special request
Additional Details:
- Automatic Trucks
- Multistop loads with 7 to 8 avg stops per load
- CAN take the truck home – No Riders
- Uniforms are provided.
- Footwear allowance provided for required steel-toed boots-up to $75!

Qualifications
Moving Violations
- No more than 3 in the last 3 years
* Based on the offense date
Policy on License suspensions
- No more than 30 days in the last 3 years for moving violation
- No more than 12 months in the last 3 years for non-moving violation
- Must have a valid license for 2 out of last 3 years
DOT Recordable Accidents
- No more than 3 minor accidents/incidents in the past 3 years
- No more than 1 highway accident in the past year
- No major preventable in the last 3 years
* Major Preventable Accident Definition – Damage totaling $25,000 or more
Ticket / Accident / Incident Combo
- No more than 3 accidents and/or tickets
- No more than one preventable with less than 12 months of experience
Major Moving Violations- that are automatic DQ’s
- No careless or reckless driving convictions in the last 3 years
- No rear end or roll over accidents in the last 3 years

Policy Against Unemployment- even if it is accounted for
- No more than 22 months of unemployment in the last 3 years
Felony Convictions
- All criminal convictions are reviewed on an individual basis as part of an overall review of the file.
- Felony drug charges must be outside of 7 years
Misdemeanors
- All criminal convictions are reviewed on an individual basis as part of an overall review of the file.
DUI/DWI
- No more than 1 and it must be outside of 5 years old
- If Driver has 2 DUI’s, they will be considered if both are prior to 2002
- Drivers with a DUI/DWI in a CMV may be considered for employment with appropriate SAP paperwork.

Failed Drug/Alcohol Test
- Must have 1 year of safe Driving since completing an SAP program
