Drivers average pay $1200 per week.

• This account delivers dry and refrigerated freight to various locations across Texas and Louisiana.
• Drivers typically run within a 500-mile radius,
• 70% of Deliveries are to Houston (Local).
• Usually run multiple routes per day, and may require a 10 hour break on the road on more than one occasion
• Employees must have personal transportation available for travel to and from the Walmart DC..
• The operation runs 24/7, will include driving at night, weekends, and holidays.
• Drivers work 6 days with a 34 hr reset off
• Off days are based on availability with no guaranteed weekend spots.
• Drivers will slip seat tractors that include both day cabs and sleepers
• After 1 yr on the account, drivers may take a week of paid vacation. After 3 years on the account they will receive two weeks of vacation.

Qualifications:

Minimum Experience

  • Minimum of 6 months OTR experience (defined as 3 states or throughout TX or CA) in the last 36months with a major carrier (50 trucks/driver). The 6 months experience must be with no more than two carriers, and driver can have no preventable CMV or DOT-Recordable accidents during the 6months.
  • Minimum of 12 months OTR experience (defined as 3 states or throughout TX or CA) in the last 36 months regardless of carrier size

Moving Violations

  • No more than 3 in the last 3 years
  • No more than 2 in the last 12 months

Accidents

  • DOT Preventable Accident: No more than 2 in last 3 years
  • U-Turn Accident In A CMV: Requires 24 months of safe Driving
  • DOT-Recordable Accident (Preventable): No more than 1 in last 12 months
  • Preventable or At-Fault with fatality (CMV or POV): 5 years with safe driving record

Max. Number of Jobs

  • No more than 4 in the last year
  • No more than 6 in the last 2 years
  • No more than 8 in the last 3 years

Felony Convictions

  • No felony for arson or theft in the last 10 years
  • No theft by check in the past 3 years
  • No drug charges in the past 10 years
  • All sex offenses must be approved by HR
  • All domestic violence is case by case

Misdemeanors

  • None within the last 3 years
  • Drug & theft charges must be outside of 5 years
  • All sex offenses must be approved by HR
  • No theft by check in the past 3 years
  • All domestic violence is case by case

DUI/DWI

  • None allowed while holding a CDL

If not holding a CDL;

  • No more than 2 in a lifetime
  • Most recent must be at least 5 years old
  • If 2, oldest has to be at least 10 years old
