This semi-local driving job operates within a 450-mile radius of La Vergne, TN.

$1,250 pay guarantee for the first 6 weeks!

  • $1,250 minimum gross guaranteed per week for the first 6-weeks (includes training) contingent upon the driver working a full work week
  • Average weekly gross:  $1,250
  • Average annual gross:  $65,000

  • Schedule:  Drivers can choose an alternating shift between a 6-day work week and a 4-day work week.  (see below for details).  Or they can work a 6 day shift consistently.
    • If choosing the 6/4 shift:
      • The drivers will work a 4-day work week every other week
      • Days off will be weekdays on both the 4 day and 6 day work weeks.
    • If choosing the 6 day shift drivers will have a day during the week off.
  • Start Times:  (1400 – 2000) – start times cannot be selected.
  • Shift:  12 – 14 hours
  • Average 2 – 3 nights home a week in addition to reset – home time will vary based on freight volumes
  • Driver PTO:  Immediately (1.5 hours per week), 6th Anniversary (2.3 hours per week), 19th Anniversary (3 hours per week)
  • Off Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day!


  • Delivering preloaded trailers from customer distribution centers to UPS, FedEx, and other Amazon distribution centers.
  • No Touch Freight – 90% of freight is drop and hook at customer distribution center – 10% live load/unload at 3rd party backhaul locations.
  • On-time pickup, transit, and delivery is monitored as on-time service is critical for the customer.


  • Required to haul loads for Intermodal and other Dedicated accounts when freight volumes are low


  • International Sleeper
  • Truck will be assigned – slip seating possible during training
  • Drivers living within 50 miles of the account may take their truck home.
  • Drivers living outside of 50 miles are required to park their truck at the account – 1554 JP Hennessy Dr Lavergne, TN 37086
  • Passengers are not permitted

Moving Violations

  • No more than 3 in the last 3 years

Policy on License suspensions

  • No more than 30 days in the last 3 years for moving violation
  • No more than 12 months in the last 3 years for non-moving violation
  • Must have a valid license for 2 out of last 3 years

DOT Recordable Accidents

  • No more than 3 minor accidents/incidents in the past 3 years
  • No more than 1 highway accident in the past year
  • No major preventable in the last 3 years

* Major Preventable Accident Definition – Damage totaling $25,000 or more

Ticket / Accident / Incident Combo

  • No more than 3 accidents and/or tickets
  • No more than one preventable with less than 12 months of experience

Major Moving Violations- that are automatic DQ’s

  • No careless or reckless driving convictions in the last 3 years
  • No rear end or roll over accidents in the last 3 years

Policy Against Unemployment- even if it is accounted for

  • No more than 22 months of unemployment in the last 3 years

Felony Convictions

  • All criminal convictions are reviewed on an individual basis as part of an overall review of the file.
  • Felony drug charges must be outside of 7 years

  • No more than 1 and it must be outside of 5 years old
  • If Driver has 2 DUI’s, they will be considered if both are prior to 2002
  • Drivers with a DUI/DWI in a CMV may be considered for employment with appropriate SAP paperwork.
